The placement introduced me to the concepts of key risk tools such as PESTLE and provided an awareness of how central risk is to major government, commercial and financial decision making. The Public Policy course provided a learning journey from studying War as a Risk Management as a theoretical module ahead of ascertaining practical experience during the work placement.
