Children of a Lesser God is a powerful drama exploring communication, identity, and the experiences of the Deaf community. This film challenges stereotypes and encourages empathy, making it a must-watch for students and the younger generation. The Sign Language Film Club is organised by Ugo Marsili, School Lead of Disability Awareness and Diversity & Inclusion Trainer at the 伊人直播app. Ugo is an expert in Deaf awareness and audiovisual translation. As a previous BSL student, Ugo established the BSL language provision at the University in 2017, leading a dedicated team that has inspired hundreds of students and staff. The Club launched in February 2024 as part of the Languages for All programme at the 伊人直播app. This special gathering aims to foster a deeper understanding of the Deaf community by exploring language, communication, and accessibility.
